I can't believe the time has flown by so fast. But then again, there are lots of truisms that I can not believe. I'm up to 46 states now, and I want to get to the last 4 by the time I turn 40 in 2012.
I quit my job and got another one and I couldn't be happier. When, I first started, our group found an orphaned kitten in the back of the office. I was allowed to take him home and care for him.
Now, that cat who 5 tomorrow. I can't believe I've had Boots for that long. The picture on the left is Boots when he was 9 days old.I just got a new nephew, Robert Harrison Young, or Harry. I like that he's named for my Great Grandfather who was really great for the 6+ years I knew him. He was always so darned happy.
You would always see photos of my great grandparents and he would smile while my great grandmother neve smiled. It was really funny. There are lots of professional photos of my great grandfather a lot of them damaged for one reason or another, but he was a favorite of photographers. This is where he used to work after my grandfather built the wharf. The building on the left is recent, but the rest of the wharf looks like it did when I first remember it in the 1970's.
